The South African swimming team has dominated others including the host Zambiaat the ongoing SCSA Zone 6 games in Lusaka.

On Saturday the 8th of December 2012 they collected all the gold medals and almost all the silver medals while they did not collect any bronze.

The team which looked to be in a better shape than others had its participants both male and female win the first and second prizes.

By press time South Africa had collected seven gold medals, six silver medals whileNamibia had collectedtwo Bronze, and Zambia also had one bronze medal.

The Games which are taking place at the newly constructed Olympic Development Centre in Lusaka dropped the spirits of many Zambian funs who attributed the poor performance of the Zambian participants to inadequate preparations.

Others also attributed the poor performance to lack of exposure to such activities and facilities and commended the government for constructing the OYDC.
